Is there free restaurant billing software?
Scan & Order includes a 30-day free trial with billing, QR ordering and reports. After that, plans start at ₹199 for 31 days (Popular ₹699 for 182 days, Business ₹999 for 399 days). There is no per-bill or per-order commission.
Does it create GST bills?
Yes. Add your GSTIN and tax rates once; every bill shows the taxable amount, tax and total. You can also turn tax off for businesses that are not GST-registered.
Which printer do I need?
Any standard thermal receipt printer that works with your phone, tablet or laptop. Scan & Order has receipt layouts for 58 mm and 80 mm paper, and a full-page bill for A4.
Can guests pay by UPI?
Yes. Add your UPI ID and UPI QR code in settings and they are printed on the bill, so guests can scan and pay with any UPI app.
Do I need a computer or POS machine?
No. Billing works in the Scan & Order Android app and in the web panel on any laptop or tablet. There is no hardware to buy.
Is it a replacement for Petpooja or other POS software?
For many small restaurants, cafés and cloud kitchens, yes — billing, QR ordering, menu, staff alerts and sales reports are all included at a lower cost. Large chains that need inventory recipes or multi-counter KOT printing may still prefer a full POS.
